Systems of Linear Equations in Three Variables
In this section, we're going to take the next step in our discussion of systems and move from systems with two variables to systems with three. The methods here will be the same as the ones we used in the two variable/equation case: substitution and elimination.

The methods for solving systems of linear equations with three variables are the same as the ones we used for systems of two equations: substitution and elimination. As you'll see, we just have to use them multiple times. (lecture slides)
Just like we saw with two variable systems, three variable systems can have some special cases that occur when the graphs either overlap or don't intersect at all. (lecture slides)
